It’s ‘Love Your Lenses’ week, organised by the General Optical Council to promote good practice for contact lens wearers! It’s easy to fall into bad habits, especially when you’ve been wearing contact lenses for a while but it’s so important to ensure you wash and dry your hands carefully before inserting or removing lenses. It’s also vital you visit your optometrist for a contact lens check up regularly, they will check to see if the lenses still fit well, are the correct prescription and that your eyes are healthy! If you haven’t had a contact lens check up for a while, make sure you book one!
